Leak credit rule
Cobbโs Leak Credit Policy gives a partial credit for eligible leaks once in a rolling 12-month period and no more than two affected months. It does not fully compensate for a leak.
Leak adjustment pageWhat to submit
- Address and account number.
- Brief explanation of the type of leak.
- Plumbing repair receipt, parts receipt, or repair explanation letter.
- Pool volume for pool leak credits.
- Continue paying while the credit is processed.
Most common indoor leak
Cobb says the most common leak inside the home is a toilet leak, and many silent toilet leaks are caused by damaged flappers.
Freeze-drip note
Cobb says temporary dripping during cold weather is usually around 50 gallons or less and is not considered an ongoing leak.
Billing increment
Cobb bills based on usage in 1,000-gallon increments, so tiny temporary drips may not visibly affect most bills.
